about us
We are a husband and wife Architecture & Interiors design studio.Together, we practice honest and human centric design through thoughtful research and cultural context. Our strength together is in our differences individually. By combining our career experiences we are able to approach each project through a micro and macro lens, and compliment each others expertise and intuition.
We are currently renovating our 1891 home in the Hudson Valley, doing the vast majority of the construction work with our own hands.

Katie
Katie is the interior master eye behind the spaces and places we create. An expert in all things tactile; materials, furniture, textiles, and everything in-between… she has a sixth sense to know what feels right (and what doesn’t). She has 15 years of industry experience, with a focus in hospitality and FF&E design. Katie has previously worked for some of the most sought after names in the interior design industry; Roman & Williams, Tihany Design, Related Companies/Equinox, and Home Studios to name a few.She believes that every space should speak, feel, and demand a sense of place. She works hard to bring that moment of indefinable comfort and happiness with every space and place we bring to life.
Katie’s incredible creativity and sharp eye to design and taste-making get counterbalanced with Kyle’s approach to what can be built.
Kyle
Kyle is a licensed Architect (Illinois, New York, NCARB Certified) who has practiced Architecture in Chicago and New York for 15 years. He believes every Architect should understand thoroughly how things come together, and that Architecture should be timeless, and built to last; while being honest to the materials and pragmatic to the function.Kyle is an expert in digital technology, and has worked at COOKFOX Architects, Perkins + Will, Schools for the Children of the World, and has been published internationally for various competition wins.
Kyle’s functional sense of Architecture beautifully pairs with the soft sensibility that Katie brings to the space.
